In 2001, Kulal International Ltd acquired controlling shares in Medipharm Industries (E.A) Ltd. At that time, it was the only company in Uganda to manufacture oral liquid dosage forms and Oral Rehydration Salts. This was the motivation behind kulal’s appetite to invest in the company.
Indeed this has paid divided as over the years, Medipharm Industries has witnessed tremendous growth to become the leading manufacturer of both Oral Liquid dosage forms and Oral Rehydration salts (ORS).

Medipharm Sales Limited was registered in Uganda, in the year 2002 and is fully owned by Medipharm Industries E.A Limited. The company occupies a unique position of being the sole distributor of all products manufactured by Medipharm Industries E.A. Ltd.
It also acts as a distributor in Uganda for various Multinational companies as well as representing kulal in the sales & marketing of wisdoms brand of toothbrushes manufactured by Kulal International Limited at Wisdom factory in Industrial Area, Nairobi.
Qpharm is the retail wing of Kulal affording us the opportunity to directly engage with the end-user.
Presently, we have two Qpharm pharmacies at strategic locations in Lavington Mall & Garden city mall, Nairobi.
These are community pharmacies providing pharmaceuticals and allied products directly to the end-users.
Our emphasis at these units is customer satisfaction. For this reason, we go a long way to understand and appreciate the ever changing demands of the people we serve.

Team Office is charged with the responsibility of House Keeping, making sure that all our communication with the outside world remains precise and prompt. The team is responsible for Administration, Finance and Creativity.
The team player responsible for the front desk is Veronica, assisted by Melanie. The team leader for the accounts department is Fredrick, assisted by Peter, Lawrence and Jane.
